With the merger of Bontus Immobilienverwaltung and Dr. Gerhard Stingl Hausverwaltung in 2023, this success story is now being continued by Tanja Bachschwöller and Lukas Eybel under the common brand be real – supported by experience, value consciousness and a clear focus on quality.
Bontus Immobilienverwaltung established
In 2006, Christian Bontus took over a long-established property management company that had been successfully operating in Vienna for several decades. With a new name – Bontus Property Management – and a clear focus on quality, reliability, and personal service, he continued the proven work of his predecessors and consistently developed the company further.
Lukas Eybel joins the company
Lukas Eybel began his professional career at Bontus Property Management in 2009. From the very beginning, it was important to me to get to know all areas of the company from the ground up – a crucial step on the path to my current responsibilities within the company.
Relocation to Franz-Josefs-Kai
The move to Franz-Josefs-Kai 65 in the heart of Vienna marked the beginning of a new era. The modernized office premises and the introduction of advanced software solutions laid the foundation for further growth and future-oriented development of the firm.
Takeover of Stingl property management
With the acquisition of Dr. Gerhard Stingl Hausverwaltung GmbH, including its employees, clients, and mandates, the portfolio of properties under management doubled in 2015. The integration into the office premises at Franz-Josefs-Kai 65 marked a significant step in the company's further development.
Generational change & digitalisation
At the beginning of 2020, the involvement and assumption of management by Lukas Eybel secured the continuation of the company within the family. Targeted initiatives towards digitalization and process optimization were launched, laying the foundation for the future-oriented development of the company.
Addition of real estate brokerage services
Since 2021, we have expanded our range of services with our own real estate agency – with the aim of providing our clients with comprehensive support. Whether selling, renting, or requiring individual consultation, our real estate services are aimed at both existing clients and external property owners who value reliability, market knowledge, and personal commitment.
Merger gives rise to the be real brand
In the summer of 2023, Bontus Immobilienverwaltung and Dr. Gerhard Stingl Hausverwaltung merged to form the new brand be real. This merger created a future-oriented company that combines tradition with modern property management. The foundation for today's be real Immobilienmanagement was laid.
Complete takeover by new owners
At the beginning of 2025, Tanja Bachschwöller and Lukas Eybel acquired the remaining shares in be real Immobilienmanagement. As the new sole owners, they are leading the company with fresh energy, responsibility, and vision into the next generation of property management.
